Welcome Back!
Welcome back to campus, and welcome back to in-person theater! This is the first of many weekly newsletters to keep you up to date on awesome events, wonderful shows, and incredible opportunities by and for members of our community. We can’t wait to make art with you this fall! Throughout the semester (and beyond) please reach out to the HRDC board with any suggestions, feedback, questions, or things you’d like to pub in our newsletter. Happy theater-making!
Announcements & Opportunities
Common Casting Fall 2021! – Come audition for a wide variety of productions this semester! On Monday 9/6 through Thursday 9/9 from 6pm-12am, HRDC will be holding common casting! Theatrical shows will be running open, walk-in auditions at a variety of locations on campus. The schedule can be found here. Looking forward to seeing you there! Common Casting Information Session! – On Sunday, Sept. 5th, from 5:30pm-6pm, come to the Loeb Ex to chat with members of the HRDC board about Common Casting! Bring any questions or concerns you have about the process, and we will see you there.
Pizza Q in the Ex! – On Sunday, Sept. 5th, from 6pm-7pm, come chat with staff members from all of the productions happening this fall to learn about upcoming shows. Food will be provided.
Theater at Harvard Open House! – The Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club and the Office for the Arts will be hosting a Open House on Saturday, Sept. 4 from noon to 5pm at the Agassiz Theater, to discuss all the ways to get involved in theater at Harvard. This will feature venue tours of our spaces, food, a student theater leader panel, FREE SWAG, opportunities to meet representatives from campus theater groups, find out more about all of the shows happening this semester, signups for tech trainings, a discussion of how theater can happen safely this semester, and much more! This will be a big welcome back event for all those who have been involve or who are looking to get involved in Theater this semester! If you have any questions, please email [email protected]!
