This year, venue applications for most venues will be available through the HRDC App. Applications for the Loeb Mainstage, Loeb Ex, and Agassiz Theater can be submitted through the HRDC App linked above. There is no Farkas slot available for Spring 2020. The OBERON application is also available via the same link above, though it is not submitted through the system.
To access the Loeb and OFA apps, go here and click “Start a New Application”. You will need to log in or create an account, if you do not already have one. After starting an application, you can invite other staff members to collaborate on the application. Other members in Executive staff roles will have access to edit the entire application, while staff members in other roles will not. However, each staff member you invite must themselves sign on to the application by visiting the same portal, and provide their resume, conflicts, and design plan or statement themselves. Other staff members will not appear on your submitted application until they have logged in and clicked “Sign On” for your show. If they have multiple roles, they will need to sign on to each one individually. When you submit your application, it will be submitted for all selected venues simultaneously, even though some portions of the app may vary from venue to venue, so make sure to fill all of them out, if applicable. After the Nov 17th deadline, we will reach out to all existing applications to schedule interviews.
The deadline for all Loeb, OFA, and OBERON applications is Dec 1 at 11:59 PM. For Loeb and OFA applications, in lieu of the old “pre-apps”, you must have STARTED your application by Nov 17 at 11:59 PM. As long as you have started an application in the online system and filled out a preliminary staff list and residency preferences, you are considered to have submitted a pre-application. On Friday, November 15th, members of the HRDC Board, as well as Dana Knox from the OFA, will be holding open office hours in the Farkas Hall lobby from 1-3pm. We will also reach out to schedule individual office hours between the pre-application deadline and the full deadlines for all Loeb applications.
Look out for applications for house theater spaces later in the semester. Deadlines for these apps may vary and will also be announced later.
