ABOUT THE SHOW

This production is a mystical and musical staging of Shakespeare’s The Tempest complete with live painting, live music, and dance. It will capture the imagination and awaken our childlike wonder as we explore what it really means to arrive in a foreign place and create something out of nothing. Each “character” in this piece is a “player” and will spin in and out of characters throughout the production. Some players will also be cast as solely musicians or solely dancers. This production will be cast gender-blind.
