A twentieth century hotel/casino is under tyrannic mafia rule. Nanki-Poo, a modest musician with a big secret, returns from a long journey to reunite with his love, Yum-Yum. Tragically, he discovers that his beloved is scheduled to marry her guardian, Ko-Ko, the Lord High Executioner. The noble lady Katisha comes to pay a visit to the casino to hunt down her lost love and reveal the secret past of Nanki-Poo. Gilbert and Sullivan famously satirize and challenge the bureaucracy of England in this reimagining of one of their most famous operettas!
