Annie Baker’s 2014 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama follows three employees at a dilapidated movie theater in central Massachusetts. Baker’s profoundly funny and moving dialogue delves into intersecting issues of race, class, sexuality and mental health, projecting the confusing, devastating, evolving nature of human relationships against the background of a struggling movie theater.
