ABOUT THE SHOW
In the midst of planning her best friend’s wedding, Angie, an aspiring grad school applicant and writer, discovers a simple, quick, and marginally illegal path to solve her problems: get hitched and list herself as financially “independent.” For help, she enlists her friend, Ben, who has his own plan: to get into Law School without losing his mind, morals, or boyfriend. Complications accumulate as Gina, a fellow senior in pursuit of US Citizenship, requests to be included. Word spreads and soon Angie realizes that she has become the leader of a fraudulent marriage cult.
