Get Thee to a Nursery! is the Hyperion Shakespeare Company’s Spring 2017 scene recital, a semesterly revue of scenes culled from Shakespeare’s comedies, tragedies and histories and united under a common theme. In each of the scenes this semester, parent-child relationships will be at the fore. Expect, as we investigate this Freudian theme, to be entertained by all of the frippery, rodomontade, bawdry, gravitas, and Elizabethan local color that scene recital promises every semester. We promise to our audiences a lively evening of Shakespearean theater, staged to be as accessible and entertaining as we can possibly make it.
Auditions will be held 7-9pm on Tuesday, February 7 and Thursday, February 9 in Lowell Lecture Hall, Room B-14.
