Three boys and a girl grow up knowing that their death is just a matter of time. Once the school year is over, they will become human sacrifice for the Minotaur – a ferocious, man-eating monster, who threatens the existence of their country. Until that happens, they try to find moments of grace in a routine of fear, despair, and violence.
Based on personal experiences of former I.D.F. soldiers, Minotaur provides a rare glimpse of the troubled souls of Israeli millennials, who were born in an age of great expectations and grew up to witness the colossal collapse of the peace process. The play won the Spring Festival of the Alley Theater (Israel’s oldest fringe theater) and is currently running in Tel Aviv.
Please be advised that this production is not suitable for children due to adult content.
